Whether you’re a bird enthusiast, nature lover, or simply curious about local conservation efforts, this is a rare opportunity to learn, explore, and connect with nature—all in one unforgettable morning. This exclusive, half-day outdoor experience invites you to step into a thriving natural landscape for a guided birding tour, a scenic nature walk, and an engaging exploration of restoration and habitat management for native plants and wildlife. This program was partially funded by the San Joaquin Audubon Society, allowing participants to take advantage of this special opportunity to experience a remarkable conservation area. Relax and enjoy the ride as we travel by coach bus from the University of the Pacific, then dive into expert-led tours with a Bufferlands Natural Resource Specialist and acclaimed avian expert David Yee, who will bring the land—and its birds—to life with fascinating insights and stories. *Trails consist of gravel roads and mowed paths. While there may be a bit of damp, short grass and a few puddles to step around, conditions are looking very good. Participants should plan for a walk of up to 1.5 miles, and comfortable hiking boots or walking shoes are highly recommended. **EdVenture includes a boxed picnic lunch from Cheese Central. ***Please note: Hourly Parking is required with the Passport Parking app-$8 for the entire day. This fee is not included in the tour cost.
