Course Description

The course focus is to build candidate skills toward mastery of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs). Candidates engage in continuous cycles of growth through a structured inquiry process to support self-selected goals in the CSTPs and achieve growth along the Continuum of Teaching Practice (CTP). Mentors are trained to provide just in time support through on site coaching and collaboration, and receive differentiated levels of training based on experience supporting new teachers. Course content is outlined in the Program Overview, and the Program Sequence shows each stage of the candidate Cycles of Continuous Growth. For a more detailed view of semester work, please see the candidate Individual Learning Plan (ILP). Course delivery is online through the Docebo learning platform, with required asynchronous eLearning courses and live webinars to support candidate and mentor work.
