This course is designed to challenge and engage participants through a leadership simulation while exploring key real-world issues confronted by non-profit managers. The course has three parts: 1. Leading the Courtney Museum: Setting the Stage 2. Leading the Courtney Museum Simulation 3. Leading the Courtney Museum Final Course Assessment Leading the Courtney Museum: Setting the Stage looks at the history and management of art museums in the United States. It reviews some current governance and management issues and outlines the key characteristics of well-managed art museums.
