PDSJ 9100 - Introduction to Scholastic Podcasting

Course Description

This course will introduce scholastic journalism advisers to the basics of podcasting. They will listen to and evaluate award-winning professional and student-produced podcasts as well as create their own during the semester. Students will also attend the annual Student and Adviser Journalism Day at University of Maryland. They will select three workshops to attend, from those workshops, students will create a lesson plan to be used in their own classes.
