Course Description

This gem of a park at the base of Camanche Reservoir holds some of the best riparian habitat on the Mokelumne River. Wintering sparrows and woodpeckers are common here, and we can expect the rarity here such as phainopepla, Lewis’s woodpecker and varied thrush. But the highlight will be all of the spawning salmon at the fish hatchery, which usually attracts bald eagles.
