Course Description

Emerging in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, the Unitarian and Universalist traditions in the United States represent a significant part of early American culture, an important part of the history of Stockton. The first Unitarian Society of Stockton was organized in the 1890’s, and their current building was constructed in the early 1930’s—making it one of the oldest religious buildings in continuous use in Stockton.
