UNSM 100 - Lifesaving-Centered Animal Shelter Management Internship

Course Description

The Lifesaving-Centered Animal Shelter Management Internship is designed to provide students with real-life leadership experiences in animal shelters. Graduates (and students who have completed at least three of the required courses) of the UOP Lifesaving-Centered Animal Shelter Management Certificate Program are eligible to apply and it is especially beneficial to those looking for new ideas to bring back to their organizations or eager to break into the field. The internships are hosted by successful, well-managed animal shelters throughout the country that are focused on maximizing lifesaving through progressive programs. Each internship will last from six to twelve weeks, depending on the level of participation and hosting organization?s availability.
